Energy Saving Tips to Use Throughout the Year

The decreasing foot prints of fossil fuel is one of the greatest concern of our times. The energy producing resources   namely, non renewable have been exhausted at an constant rate resulting in this crunch. On the other hand the burning of these fuels causes several reactions out of which production of heat is the most common. This heat Conjures up a phenomenon called global warming, that has endangered the Glaciers and other frozen areas and bodies resulting in the rise of water level of the existing water bodies and endangering species  and hence disturbing the ecological model of the nature.

But there are a few ways we can tackle the challenges of these hideous problems. Below given are few energy saving tips:-


·         Use fans instead of air conditioner all the time.
·       Replace incandescent light bulbs with compact fluorescent ones. They last up to ten times longer and can use a quarter of the energy.
·       Plug electronics into a power strip and flip off the switch when the gadgets aren’t in use. (make sure this won’t mess up clocks and recordings.)
·        Always turn off all your computer components that we usually forget or lazily don’t. Also set the computer's sleep mode for when the computer is idle for just a little while. By doing these two simple acts, you will use about 85% less energy each day.
·         Simply switch off the light whenever not in need or you leave the room.
·         Set the thermostat to no lower than 78°F in the summer and no higher than 68°F in the winter.
·         You can use natural light by placing  your desk next to a window instead of a lamp.
·         Close your curtains to keep out daytime summer heat or keep in nighttime winter warmth.
·         Turn off the TV or video game console and play outside.
·         Always turn off your cars and other vehicles when waiting for  that light to turn green.
·         Ride a bike or walk instead of using the car.
·        Carpool


These are simple and very effective tips to preserve and save out beautiful planet.
